The Vlachopoulos family welcomes you to the newly renovated  "Family Hotel Penelope" in the south part of Corfu, which re-opens in 2004. Having been active in tourism from 1981, for the last 23 years here at our family-run hotel, we know how to make your summer holiday the most enjoyable ever!
If you would like to recover somewhere quiet away from the tourist centres this is the place to come and you'll be in very good hands. Hotel Penelope has been recently renovated to further improve your Comfort level. The Hotel is located on Corfu`s fantastic south-east coast, 23 km from Corfu town, in the small fishing village of Boukari.
	The hotel is situated in an olive grove and provides a bar, taverna, living room, dining room,  parking, access to the Internet, fax services, car rental (on request), exchange service, and daily maid service. The hotel is just 100 meters away from the sea and Boukari harbour. The area is surrounded by lots of trees.
From the hotel you can comfortably walk to the sea, wich has a small sandy beach and crystal clear water, to the famous fish-taverns in Boukari and to the harbour where you can watch the Fishermen in action. With a rented car (parking lots are available) you can also reach the extensive, kilometre-long sand beaches of St. Georgios, Issos, Santa Barbara, Vitalades and Moraitika all within 10 minutes. 	Each studio consists of one big double bed with air conditioning system,satelite television,big wardrobe,fridge,kitchenette with toast machine,coffe maker,a big bathroom with w.c.,shower and a big balkony with sea and gardenview. The guests have also the availaibility in our place to order accomodation with breakfast, if they wish,or halfboard. Super Market,fruit shop and bakery is in Boukari 10 meters away from our Hotel.
Every double room at the Hotel Penelope consists of two single or one double bed with air conditioning system, Sat TV, wardrobe, refrigerator, a bathroom with shower (cold/warm), and a large balcony with a sea view!!! The bathrooms are completely new. The individually divided balcony offers sufficient space for two people and is equipped with table and chairs.
	On the ground floor there is a reception, a small bar and a breakfast area. Even if you can not do without the Internet whilst on Holiday, the  Vlachopoulos family have catered for this. Free Wi-Fi internet is provided in the hotel area.
Also on a beautiful large terrace you can enjoy your breakfast or an evening cocktail in the wonderful peace.
	Guests can also book accommodation if they wish with breakfast or half board. Even if you wish to eat at noon or in the evening, traditional greek cuisine cooked by the  Vlachopoulos family, you can either walk  500 meters or you can be driven by one of the family by bus to the traditional tavern Boukari Beach directly by the sea.
During your stay on the island of Corfu you should  visit  Paleokastritsa, Aqualand, Kanoni, Glyfada, Mirtiotissa, Gouvia, Sidari (canal d`Amour), Achillion, the old town, the liston (spianada square), Kasiopi, Pelekas, Moraitika, and numerous other places which are all worth a visit.
